Dr. Hovig is a graduate of The University of Illinois at Chicago with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology. He went on to The National College of Chiropractic where he received another Bachelor of Science in Human Biology and a Doctorate of Chiropractic.Dr. Hovig also received a Post-Doctorate degree in Clinical Nutrition and regularly attends seminars on nutrition and disease. Dr. Hovig's practice includes sports-related injuries, everyday chronic repetitive stress injuries and patients with digestive problems, allergies, and overall wellness that is addressed through laboratory tests, supplements, and dietary interventions.

Dr. Elena completed a Residency in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation and Internal Medicine at Loyola University Medical Center and The University of Illinois at Chicago. There, she focused on acute and chronic pain syndromes, headaches, musculo-skeletal and neurologic pain syndromes.Dr. Elena has extensive knowledge and experience in General Medicine, Cardiology,Pulmonology, and Endocrinology. Dr. Elena is a member of numerous professional societies, including The Association of Academic Physiatrists and The Physiatrist Association of Spine Sports and Occupational Rehabilitation.

Shannon Burke, D.C.
Dr. Shannon is a graduate of Northern Illinois University with a Bachelor of Science. She went on to The National College of Chiropractic where she received another Bachelor of Science in Human Biology and a Doctorate in Chiropractic.
In practice, Dr. Shannon's goal is to teach patients how to improve their health through good spinal alignment, exercise, posture-correcting rehabilitation, and stress management. She has extensive knowledge in women's preventative health and helps female patients with natural hormone replacement options and balancing their hormones naturally to address pre- and post-menopausal concerns as well as fertility concerns.
Dr. Shannon is a member of the American Chiropractic Association and the Illinois Chiropractic Society. She spent two years as a public speaker for The American Cancer Society and enjoys performing health lectures throughout the community on a variety of health topics.
